Getting involved

Pennine Heritage is a charity and relies completely on grants, donations and volunteer support. We still have a lot of work to do and funds to raise in order to make our projects happen. There are so many ways you could help and really make a difference.

Make a Donation: Can you help us by supporting the work we are doing by making a donation to our work. Why not visit LocalGiving and donate to our work.

Volunteering: We are a small, friendly organisation that thrives on the enthusiasm of our volunteers and we are passionate about finding the right role to suit individual interests. There are so many different and varied opportunities for volunteers. We are actively looking for people to help us out in the following areas-

  • Digital Archive – documenting and scanning thousands of images
  • Oral History – if you love listening to people’s stories, this is for you!
  • Trails – testing routes and directions, guiding walks and research

In return, we offer a chance to learn more about the wonderful heritage of the Upper Calder Valley.

Talk to us about Partnership Working – we are always happy to explore and develop projects that support our aims and allow us to expand our work.
